Riaan takes children on an adventure to relive the toil, excitement and terror of his journey – travelling through the Sahara desserts, learning new languages, eating monkey, rat and bat, visiting the pyramids, swimming in the Red Sea in Egypt, feeding hyenas mouth to mouth and standing on the highest and lowest points in Africa.
Your children will learn what it is like not to give up, that life can sometimes be hard, but if you get through the hard times, there will always be a reward in the end. Your children will learn through these hard times that Riaan had, fun facts about animals and Africa. A young generation will be inspired and challenged to dream big.
