For 5 successful years Manser has taken 5 South African grade 11 and 12 students for an educational adventure in icy and majestic Antarctica.

Riaan Manser founded Matrics in Antarctica to share his experience with the youth and to educate them on the importance of preserving our beautiful planet. He believes that our youth are the changemakers who need to stop talking about the problems our planet faces and start doing something, starting in their immediate communities.
